Chloe Downey is a sophomore BFA in Musical Theatre major at Youngstown State University with a plan to also minor in Creative Writing and Music. At YSU, she has had the wonderful opportunity to be a part of some truly fantastic productions. Her credits include The Music Man in Concert (Amaryllis/ Ensemble), Little Shop of Horrors (run crew), and An Evening of Ten-Minute Plays 2021 (Headspace; Glasstown). Also at YSU, she had the great opportunity to be a part of the Dana Chorale in which they got to perform this summer at Carnegie Hall in New York City. Chloe went to Crestview High School in her hometown of New Waterford, OH. At Crestview, she greatly enjoyed being a part of the Drama Club starting in 5th grade in which she performed in multiple plays through middle school and high school as well as musicals. Some of her credits from Crestview include, Mamma Mia (Rosie Mulligan), Hunchback of Notre Dame (Florika/ Madam/ Dragon Gargoyle), Clue (Mrs. Peacock), Sister Act (Sister Mary Lazarus), and Beauty and the Beast (Sausage Curl Girl/ Ensemble). Chloe was also very thankful to have had the opportunity to travel to Utah to act as an extra on the set of the sitcom Freelancers by J.K. Studios. Chloe has truly loved being a part of these productions and more, and is excited to continue her theatrical journey.

Her favorite character, or at least one of her favorites since it is so hard to just choose one, would have to be Rapunzel. Rapunzel is such a free spirited, kind-hearted, adventurous, and hard-working dreamer. Just like Rapunzel, she hopes to achieve her greatest dreams through hard work and determination. She hopes one day she will be able to teach students of her own the wonderful art of theatre, she hopes to write a musical that brings more awareness and support to mental health disorders, she hopes to always continue performing no matter where that may be, and she hopes to make the world a better place through volunteering, kindness, and the wonderful power of the arts. Chloe is very thankful to be a part of Castle on a Cloud Entainment where she hopes to inspire kids and adults of all ages and backgrounds to follow their hearts and never stop dreaming big!

Favorite Character: When it comes to my favorite character to play, I have a tie! I can't choose between Belle and Ariel. With Belle, I of course love the dress! But I also love how she interacts with people and her love for learning. She is brave but kind and will always fiercely be herself! With Ariel, she has always been a dream role of mine. Her curiosity and bubbliness (no pun intended) make her the sweetest girl to play! I love running around with the kids as her because just like them, Ariel is learning about the world too!

Hi there, I'm Allyson! I'm from a small town called Sharpsville in Pa, I'm 20, and I've been doing musical theater for most of my life.

I've been doing events with Castle on a Cloud since  2019 and I have loved every second of it. It was actually hard to pick a favorite character to be (obviously since I turned it into a tie) because I have loved every character I have been honored with playing. When I was a kid, I would be asked what I wanted to be when I grew up and I am not joking, I told everyone that all I wanted was to be a princess. The fact that now it's my job makes me the happiest a girl could be!

Favorite Character: My favorite character to play is Cinderella! Her demeanor is so sweet and gentle, and kids are always entranced by a princess in a big ballgown. I think her message speaks to everyone, and could change the world if more people listened; “Have courage, and be kind”.

She is a vintage swing dance instructor and regularly dances at Salsa Europa in Cleveland.
